People on Job Approvals — Now Live for Everyone
Approval workflows can now require approvers who are both:
- Assigned to a specific job, and
- Have the required role on that job
What’s new:
- New approver type: “{Role} on job” (e.g. Project Manager on job)
- Only users with that role and job assignment can approve
- Ideal for field-driven approvals
How to use it:
- Go to Settings → Approval workflows
- Select approvers from the People on job group
Why it matters:
This ensures costs are approved by the right people (those actually working on the project) improving accountability, reducing delays, and strengthening field-to-finance collaboration.
